UFC Hall of Fame and leader of Team Alpha MMA, Urijah is a pioneer in the sport and leads one of the most successful teams in the world.

PT, MPT, MS, SFG 2 Russ Dunning

Russ is a founder/owner of Kime Performance Physical Therapy. An accomplished sports physical therapist, strength coach, and researcher. Russ comes from a background as a martial arts and strength athlete. After his academic years, which include a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Physical Therapy, he pursued becoming a StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor to complement his Sports Medicine Physical Therapy focus. Russ serves as the Medical Director for Team Alpha MMA.

DO Dr. Alberto Panero

Dr. Panero is the founder of The BIOS Orthopedic Institute in Sacramento, CA. He is regarded as an international expert in orthobiologics (PRP & “Stem Cells”) and interventional orthopedic procedures. His work has been published in many of the elite orthopedic journals and is regularly invited to present his research and interventional orthopedic techniques at the top orthopedic and sports medicine conferences. He serves as Team Physician for Team Alpha MMA.

MD Dr. Brandon Beamer

Dr. Beamer is a board certified, fellowship trained specialist in orthopaedic sports medicine, performing arthroscopic (minimally invasive) surgery of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle in adult and pediatric populations. He is proud to be a part of Marshall Medical Center Orthopedics. He completed Medical school at Cornell, Residency at Harvard, and Fellowship training at Stanford. He currently serves as Team Physician for Team Alpha MMA.

MD Dr. Sean Robinson

Dr. Robinson attended the University of California at Santa Barbara, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology. Dr. Robinson then attended Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Following medical school, he completed his residency at the San Francisco Orthopedic Residency Program, followed by fellowship in Sports Medicine at the prominent Cedars Sinai - Kerlan Jobe Institute. He serves as a consultant for Team Alpha MMA.

MD Dr. Hunter Greene

Dr. Greene is an owner of Summit Orthopaedics in Sacramento, CA. Earning his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Greene completed a general surgery internship at the UC Davis Medical Center. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital and fellowship training in sports medicine and pediatric sports medicine from UC San Francisco. Dr. Greene is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the California Orthopaedic Association and the Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. He serves as Team Physician for Team Alpha MMA

PT, DPT, MSPT, CSCS Tony Mikla

Tony is a founder/owner of Kime Performance Physical Therapy. He is a leading sports physical therapist, performance coach, and researcher. He speaks and teaches nationally on sports physical therapy and regularly publishes research in international journals. Tony previously served as the Physical Therapy Manager at the world-renowned EXOS in Phoenix, AZ, working with some of the best athletes in the world. He was the Medical Director for the Sacramento Sports Commission. He serves as a Sports Medicine consultant for Team Alpha MMA.

MS, PhD Dan Pardi

Dan is the CEO of humanOS.me which leverages a novel behavior model to promote health fluency, skill development, and lifestyle insights to help people master their health practice. Dan works with Naval Special Warfare to help the most elite fighters in the world maintain alertness and capable mental performance under challenging circumstances.

MD Dr. Scott Whitlow

Dr. Whitlow is partner at the Reno Orthopaedic Clinic. He received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic residency at UC Davis with an emphasis on sports, trauma, and foot and ankle surgery. His subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery included a one-year fellowship with Dr. Thomas Clanton, M.D. at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. Dr. Whitlow is a candidate member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS). He serves as Team Physician for the US Ski Team.

DPT, CSCS, SFG1 Aaron Crouch

A former NCAA Division I baseball player, Aaron is an expert physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist. He holds a StrongFirst SFG Level 1 Instructor certification. Thanks to his history in baseball, Aaron understands the value in achieving and maintaining optimal movement, which he helps clients achieve every day. In addition to receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Sacramento State, he has accumulated vast professional experience in diverse organizations, including the San Francisco Giants, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and the USA Track & Field Championships, where he worked as a medical team member. Aaron has also been an Assistant Instructor in a variety of professional courses for clinicians and fitness professionals.

PhD Keith Baar

Dr. Keith Baar is a professor at University of California Davis and renowned tendon training researcher and expert. Professor Baar received his PhD from the University of Illinois where he discovered the molecular signal that causes load-induced muscle hypertrophy. Keith is now the head of the Functional Molecular Biology Laboratory (FMBLab) at UC Davis, where he studies how the musculoskeletal system functions, including how diet and physical activity affect muscle growth, and how tendons and ligaments respond to the stresses of exercise. His current work is focused on how loading and nutrition alter tendon/ligament/ECM health and performance.

PT, DPT, CSCS, SFG 1 Evan Hauger

Evan specializes in sports physical therapy, strength, and conditioning. He knows the ins & outs of injury from years of personal experience. Growing up, he was a multi-sport athlete and went on to play baseball at Shasta College. Through multiple personal injuries related to his athletic career, Evan realized that he had a passion for improving the way people move and enhancing their performance in sport and life. Also a StrongFirst Certified Level 1 instructor, Evan earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Sacramento State University and has worked with athletes of all calibers, including MLB, NFL, NBA, UFC, and Olympians. He has also spent time with some of the best minds in sports physical therapy in Boston, MA, been a medical team leader for the USA Track and Field National Championships, assisted with NFL combine training at Exos in Phoenix, AZ, and been the performance coach for a group of Olympic athletes.
